Can i update beta2 to 5456 ??

Upgrading from Beta 2 to 5456 is actually supported and MS requests that we report any problems in the upgrade process as bugs.

5456 is a limited release and has only been released to the technical beta testers. The next public release will be RC1.

The technical beta testers are testing this upgrade process so by the time the public gets it, it won't be near as bad as it is now :)

It is not available to the CPP participants. It is available to some other beta test programs, such as the TechBeta, who have been testing successive builds of Vista for a year now. The next build to be made available to CPP participants will be the first public release of the Release Candidate 1 (RC1) in a few months. No date has been published for that release.
